ROLL AND RELEASE | SELF CARE WORKSHOP

Jessica Miller and I have teamed up to bring you the same great Roll and Release class plus the added benefit of a relaxing therapeutic yoga experience with Reiki and essential oils.

This is a class designed to teach you a few of the many ways that you can care for your back. You will also learn the power of your own healing touch and how essential oils (plant medicine) can benefit your health. This class is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioner (beginner-advanced), rock climbers, athletes, moms, dads, students, chefs, everyone!

==Learn about some of the causes of mid back pain.
==Learn techniques using soft-ball compression to address discomfort in the back, neck, and shoulders.
==Increase your range of motion.
==Learn restorative yoga postures designed the care for your back.
==Learn how to use essential oils in your yoga practice.
==Recieve Reiki from a level 2 certified Reiki practitioner.
==Learn how to use restorative yoga, breathwork, and meditation to relax your body and mind.

*Note that the use of essential oils can cause irritation or allergic reaction for some people.

THE KING AND QUEEN OF ALL POSES: HEADSTAND AND SHOULDERSTAND THE RESTORATIVE WAY

I love inversions and I love restorative yoga methods/principals. In this workshop, I will teach you how to practice the King and Queen of asana, Headstand, and Shoulderstand, using restorative methods i.e. yoga props.

Here’s what you will gain:

== Learn how to practice inversions in a safe, supportive and encouraging environment. We will use yoga props like chairs, blocks, straps and the wall.
== Build the confidence and focus needed to perhaps one day practice inversions in the unsupported, traditional way (no yoga props).
== Get more comfortable by playing with the idea of going upside down. Learn “your version” of the pose. Its all about mindfulness!
